“Splash Splash LOVE (퐁당퐁당 LOVE)” Review: Cute, sweet and just plain goodness. Thank you for your existence ^^~

Overall Review:

A short, sweet and easy drama that has everything you’ve wanted and needed. Adorable, well-paced and just perfect in length and execution. Great for those who are seeking for a cute and short rom-com, or for those who want to take a break from some heavy long-term commitment dramas 😉

I am certainly not the first nor the last blogger to rave about how good this drama special was. And yes, of course some points that I’ll go over have probably been talked about before, however I personally believe that this drama deserves proper recognition. It is really quite rare currently to see a K-drama as short as this one yet still so solid, enjoyable and not just loose ends left in the wind; the drama definitely took its disadvantage (length of airing) and turned it into an advantage. Those who are seeking a kdrama special that doesn’t require a huge commitment but is still wanting to watching something great, this may be the one for you. Anyway, before I continue rambling further, let’s get on with this review.

“Scholar Who Walks The Night” First Impressions: I AM PUMPED FOR THIS!!!

This is perhaps my most favourite poster out of the bunch; I feel that this poster alone conveys the sadness he feels now as a vampire rather than as a human

This is perhaps my most favourite poster out of the bunch; I feel that this poster alone conveys the sadness he feels now as a vampire rather than as a human.

Hey everybody! Told you that I wouldn’t be gone for long! As many of you may already know, “Scholar Who Walks The Night” began its broadcast just last week and omg…WHAT A BEGINNING! I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been raving about how awesome the start to this drama has been, but there is a reason why many can’t get enough of this drama right now.

And so, let me contribute my part to convincing any one of you out there who is currently still on the fence about this drama 😉

“Empress Ki” Review: An adventure which will follow me forever…

My favourite poster out of the bunch *0*

My favourite poster~~~

Overall review:

A drama that ventures through a solid plot and a diverse, enjoyable range of characters. Though at times the plot is slightly unclear, the incredible cast pulls it through and definitely saves the day.

Hey guys, and welcome back to another Kdrama review! This perhaps will be one of my most memorable Kdramas in my life as it is a drama that I have committed so much time, effort, emotion and love into.

Empress Ki had finished ages ago and yes, I feel absolutely guilty that I’m posting this review now but, it’s never too late, right? Hopefully, you guys won’t kill me for posting this so so late…However, despite how late I am, I just had to post up this review! Unlike others who tend to avoid the whole idea that they had finished it, I tend to deal with it head-on – write a review, and properly say farewell to it! I have previously written a post that discusses some broad aspects of the drama, and how my initial impression of the drama went down. Since I want to avoid repetition here, just check out the post for yourself 😉

As per usual, this is a SPOILER-FREE post (as much as it possibly can) and let’s get started!

“Hwang Jin Yi” review: Wow, it hit me just as hard as the first time…

I am a guilty victim of the “rewatch whole Kdramas whilst procrastinating” illness. And I did exactly that just two days ago when I should have concentrated on finishing off some homework due the following morning.

In one night too.

Yep, judge me. Go ahead, because I know 100% that what I did was wrong ><

The thing about this illness (and yes, I consider it an illness since I feel that it is severely contagious) is that it does pros and cons (yes, surprisingly there are pros in this!) The cons are quite obvious, but the inconspicuous pros are what I want to focus on slightly.

Pros about revisiting an old drama that you watched years ago (ignoring the whole “I just stayed up all night to finish this marathon” bit) is that you get to discover points and highlights in the drama that you probably never noticed the first time around. With my experience of reliving the world of “Hwang Jin Yi”, I’ve come to realise that there is a good reason why good Kdramas are just good. And so, here is my review that will entail you all of my 2nd experience with “Hwang Jin Yi”!

And yeah, this post possibly may not be spoiler-free; you have been warned!

An absolutely stunning photo taken~~

Current trek with Empress Ki, and why everyone (and anyone) should watch it

Hey everyone!! I am finally back. New house is finally organised, my old house’s keys have been handed in, and I have officially started my 2nd of uni! Everything just came crashing down all at once huh? I guess that’s life for you guys…wait, how the hell do I have the right to just reminisce about life like that??!

Anyway, back on track here. I haven’t posted up anything over the past couple of weeks not just because of the whole moving thing (though it is the main cause of it) but also my internet at home had gotten cut off since I needed to relocate the network to the new house. That took a while to fix up, but once it did, the first thing I did with it was catch up with Empress Ki (because of course that’s the first thing you do after almost 2 weeks of no internet), which I had missed roughly 3-4 episodes of.

And geez guys, I’ve missed a lot. And I can’t wait to watch the next episodes!!

And so, this particular post is dedicated to how much I love this drama, and the reasons why I think you guys should go out and check it out for yourselves, whether you are sageuk-lovers or not!

What I’ve Been Up To Lately: Life And Drama Update

Hey ya’ll! How’s it going?? Me? A lot actually, both in life and in drama-land actually. Initially, I was planning to do a post solely about a particular drama I’m currently watching, but then I had realised that I was taking too long to do it. If I feel like it, maybe I’ll do recaps about it or something however for now, I think you all deserve an explanation for what has been happening in my life so far, and why have I gone MIA for the last 2 weeks or so.

Moving sucks. The end.

Moving sucks. The end.

So firstly, as I may have stated in another post previously, I am currently moving out of my current home (with the family) to a new one. The main issue was the fact that we didn’t choose to move out; we’ve been forced out of our current place in order for the house to be redone and resold to someone else. Since that happened, my family and I have been house hunting for weeks, and doing nothing else but. Just a couple of days ago, we had finally settled ourselves with a place, and are currently in the process of selling furniture, packing things up and organising the house in order to make sure that nothing is left behind. It’s been fun to actually discover things that I never knew existed (or find things that I never knew I had). I’m sure many of you probably understands that feeling but for me, it is foreign yet refreshing.

So, for the past two weeks or so, my house has transformed to a place piled with boxes left, right and centre containing my entire life that I had grown up knowing and loving. My life has been entirely turned upside down, and my mind has been just frazzled and unable to think and write anything. Hence the lack of posts and motivation to do anything but just pack and make sure that I get ready for university which starts in the next two weeks or so. I do apologise that I haven’t been posting anything; hopefully once I move into my new place, and get under way with uni, I will be more organised and consistent with my posts. It sucks that I haven’t been  able to write anything lately however, I wish to provide you with the best that I can do, rather than just anything that comes to mind just for the sack of posting something.

Anyway, the purpose of this post (apart from the obvious) was to actually inform you as to what I have been watching, what I’ve been checking out and finally what I have been following about to the point of pure madness…let’s start, shall we??
