I’M BACK!!! *spirit fingers* With a new start and new perspective for 2014!

keep-calm-because-i-am-back-2

Soooooo I am back from my much needed holiday to the Gold Coast!!! *Crackers and streamers go off* Yes, yes I am well aware that you have all missed me a lot (cough cough) but now I have returned, with a brain full of nothing and a body covered in a slight tan that makes me look more unhealthy then I really was :S

…This is going to be a great start to the new year, huh?

So, what I had wanted to do with this post is introduce to you all some of the new things I intend to do on this site in the coming future cause it’s time to start fresh and new, right?? Also, I want to list down my own personal goals for the new year because it is time to get yourself together Hyunnie!

Alright, so how this will work: two titles – Asia Review Maniac Goals for 2014 and Yami Hyunnie Goals for 2014. Each will list the goals I want to achieve for the year, and hopefully I will return and cross off which ones I have done on this post. If not, then a montage of the goals achieved may be made into some sort of post, and then linked here. Let’s just go with the flow, shall we?

So, let’s start!

Important Announcement to all! (I’m going…)

…to the Gold Coast for a mini holiday! Yes, I should have planned to announce this much earlier however there is something called ‘urgent packing’ and ‘so much to do, so little time to do it’.

keep-calm-and-i-m-on-holidays

I’ll be going up to the Gold Coast (Surfer’s Paradise to be more accurate) for a week to spend some time with the family and to also celebrate my birthday as well (January 12th  for those who are curious and yes, I know it’s the same date as D.O’s birthday too ^^) Since I’m pretty sure that I won’t be having a stable, consistent internet connection on hand once I’m there, that means that I probably won’t be posting anything for the next week or so. Hopefully, I’ll post something the moment I get back home safe and sound but until then, nothing can be certain.

So now, I am going to go and quickly finish off that second part of the awards (hopefully) and get it posted up by tomorrow in time for my flight. If I’m lucky, another review (first of the year!) will be posted up too. So sorry that I’ve been in a mess guys; hopefully when I get back I will be steaming forward and actually doing something.

Anyway, I wish you all a lovely break (if you’re having one at the moment) and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas/New Year holiday!!! See you guys in a week!

❤ Yami Hyunnie ^^~

P.S. I will miss you readers *tear drop*

The Heirs Episode 20 (END) Recap: A rollercoaster ride that came to a finish; some got off safely while others got dumped and fell off near the end…

1450230_623089621087505_495380378_n

And so, “The Heirs” has finally come to a close, after taking all of us on a ride that we wish to remember some, but also forget some. It has been one heck of a ride – from happy to sad moments, from angry to frustrating-moments-where-could-even-throw-your-computer-away. But no matter what has happened over the past 10 weeks, it is not hard to say that we will dearly miss the whole cast and story. And if these characters were real people in our lives, we would want to dearly wish them all the best in their endeavours.

On a side note, I’m sorry that this recap is being posted up so late; had to go to work earlier than usual therefore the post had to be postponed.

Alright, let’s finally finish this! Continue reading

The Heirs Episode 19 Recap: It was a rollercoaster all right, but why did it seem not as scary as I expected it to be??

Definitely my most favourite scene out of the whole episode! <3

Today’s episode was what everyone was probably not what everyone hoped for, but it was exactly what was expected of the episode – an episode that just gave-out literally at the last minute.

This episode had its moments, as in it showed what we wanted to see (cute, happy moments between the main leads) but in all honesty, considering this is the penultimate episode already, plot-wise there should have been more.

Let’s do this!

The Heirs Episode 18 Recap: Ahhh sooo you rip my heart into pieces, and then use cheap glue to mend it back together…sadly, it fell apart again too quickly writers, too quickly

Happy Eun Sang and Kim Tan at last...

Happy Eun Sang and Kim Tan at last…

Today will be a much calmer look on things (and for the better too), as redemption is a key aspect in today’s/yesterday’s episode of “The Heirs”.

Like yesterday’s entry, it won’t be a full-out recap like most bloggers do, but rather a post to discuss about what I think are the highlights of the episode.

Let’s begin, shall we?

The Heirs Episode 17 Recap: God, I will literally make a list, and plan to fly to Korea in order to just personally strangle a couple of people…ARGHHH!!

This has been going on for WAY TOO LONG! I cannot hold off another reaction/recap post just because I didn’t want to vent my feelings out.

This cannot go on Kim Tan, and it mustn’t! Otherwise, the title WILL come true.

But you won’t be first on my hit list, oh nono~~ Someone took that place ages ago. And guess what? You aren’t number two either.

*Sigh* Alright, let me explain why I’m feeling this way…

Oh and if this post isn’t obvious already, there will be spoilers duhhhh lol

Regurgitating an entire episode isn’t really the thing that I do here, nor do I feel that I am talented enough to write in such a way which is as enjoyable as the beautiful ladies over at Dramabeans, so this post will probably seem more like a vented rant than ever (sorry in advance!)

The best things in life are free :)

This is a post that I just wanted to share about a couple of things that have happened in my life just over the couple of days.

Firstly, THANK YOU TO ALL MY NEW FOLLOWERS/ LIKES!!!! OMG!!!! I never expected my post for the ‘weekly photo challenge’ to gain so much popularity. As a new blogger (can I call myself that yet?) I really expected my blog to be slow, and then gradually I would gain a couple of followers and likes. Never would I have expected that my one post exploded into so many people liking and commenting (by the way, I LOVE READING COMMENTS! Makes me so happy ^^) So, thank you, thank you to all that have viewed, liked, commented and then finally ended up clicking on that follow button up top – you guys are AWESOME!!
