Asia Reviewer Maniac Awards Part 1

Once again, this list in simply based on my own personal opinion and what I have discovered over the past year. Hopefully next year (by the time this is posted up, it will be this year…EEEEKKKKK!) I will venture out more and discover more fantastic content to share with you all! Sooooo let’s do this! (By the way, clearly this list is less lengthy than the last part, and I do apologise for that! I’m just very passionate about K-pop, ya know?) Continue reading

Day 24: I have no idea how I came across it but so far, no regrets!

Day 24: What book are you currently reading or what was the last book you read?

Hey guys and welcome back to the 30 day challenge! It is day number 24 ALREADY!!! Wow-wee guys, in less than a week this challenge will be complete (can you believe?!) Alrighty, let us start!

Not recommended for the weak-hearted, or people who have strong moral beliefs.

Not recommended for the weak-hearted, or people who have strong moral beliefs.

So, the current book that I am reading is called “Forbidden” written by Tabitha Suzuma. Below is the blurb written from the website “GoodReads”:

She is pretty and talented – sweet sixteen and never been kissed. He is seventeen; gorgeous and on the brink of a bright future. And now they have fallen in love. But… they are brother and sister.

Seventeen-year-old Lochan and sixteen-year-old Maya have always felt more like friends than siblings. Together they have stepped in for their alcoholic, wayward mother to take care of their three younger siblings. As defacto parents to the little ones, Lochan and Maya have had to grow up fast. And the stress of their lives—and the way they understand each other so completely—has also also brought them closer than two siblings would ordinarily be. So close, in fact, that they have fallen in love. Their clandestine romance quickly blooms into deep, desperate love. They know their relationship is wrong and cannot possibly continue. And yet, they cannot stop what feels so incredibly right. As the novel careens toward an explosive and shocking finale, only one thing is certain: a love this devastating has no happy ending.

So, as the text above can clearly state, this book is not great for anybody how can handle incest, or angst for that matter. I came across the book by accident while looking for books that were released newly this year. After I finish reading this, I plan to continue reading “The Vampire Diaries” series (I’m up to the 3rd book. Slow, I know.)

I’ve only started this book on Monday and so far I haven’t gotten into anything too deep as the blurb suggests. It’s just been introducing the current conditions at home for both protagonists. An ungrateful mother is in the picture (who I feel like punching at moments) and a bunch of kids who have to be cared for by their older siblings. I’ve arrived to a very intense point, and can’t wait to continue reading it. By the way, for those who are wondering, I downloaded an e-book version of it. I always prefer reading the book in its actual form but I couldn’t find this book in my local library…I hate it when that happens ><

Anyway, if I feel like it, I can do a review on the book once I have finished reading it. Also, I  probably should do a movie review soon too since it’s been a while :3

Have a great day guys, love you all and I’ll talk to ya’ll soon~~

Day 5: Is it normal for me to do this? :/

Day 5: Do you collect anything?

And the answer to that is….yes. A BIG YES!

Actually I collect a majority of things but in particular, two things stand out.

1. Postcards

2. Tickets

Weird, I know.

But it’s just happened. And I have been collecting these babies for YEARS.

Postcards were things that I never took interest in until halfway through high school. Our school library had free postcards sent in from various companies, universities or local exhibitions that were going on at the time. I really only collected them if they seem quite pretty, and that’s how it began. Now, almost 4-5 years later, I’m still going/sorting them out. I’ve even stuck a collage of postcards on my wall next to my bed, and unintentionally it looks like a love heart.

Pretty, isn't it? And it came by chance!

Now with tickets, I mean literally train, bus, movie and any event/trip that requires tickets. This probably started ever since I was allowed to go to the movies with my friends, and I always kept the tickets as memories. Now, I just have to keep it as if it is a habit, rather than desire. Below is my collection of train/bus/ferry tickets. My movie tickets is around the same amount but I forgot to take a photo before this post was posted up >< Sorry! (Note: some tickets record ten trips that I made with it, so if I had a ticket for ever trip I’ve ever taken, this would be triple the amount!! Holy!)

The first one reads from 2008 sooooo 5 YEARS WORTH!! Holy smokes!

I collect plenty more things such as cosmetics, jewellery, books etc but they aren’t as fancy looking as these (not that they were fancy to start with).

Anyway, hope you all enjoyed this and I’ll talk to guys soon~~
