Returning back to Blogging: 30-Day Asian Drama Challenge – Day 24

arm-30day-challenge-d24

Hey hey ya’ll and welcome back to the Asian Drama Challenge day #24. For today’s question, it is:

The unhealthiest drama OTP who were better off not being together at all

Well well well, where do I begin? There are just so many out there, where do I begin even? To ensure that I don’t end up rambling and ranting on, I will cut this list down to just 3 (originally I had about 5-6 on this list xD)

The Heirs Episode 20 (END) Recap: A rollercoaster ride that came to a finish; some got off safely while others got dumped and fell off near the end…

1450230_623089621087505_495380378_n

And so, “The Heirs” has finally come to a close, after taking all of us on a ride that we wish to remember some, but also forget some. It has been one heck of a ride – from happy to sad moments, from angry to frustrating-moments-where-could-even-throw-your-computer-away. But no matter what has happened over the past 10 weeks, it is not hard to say that we will dearly miss the whole cast and story. And if these characters were real people in our lives, we would want to dearly wish them all the best in their endeavours.

On a side note, I’m sorry that this recap is being posted up so late; had to go to work earlier than usual therefore the post had to be postponed.

Alright, let’s finally finish this! Continue reading

The Heirs Episode 19 Recap: It was a rollercoaster all right, but why did it seem not as scary as I expected it to be??

Definitely my most favourite scene out of the whole episode! <3

Today’s episode was what everyone was probably not what everyone hoped for, but it was exactly what was expected of the episode – an episode that just gave-out literally at the last minute.

This episode had its moments, as in it showed what we wanted to see (cute, happy moments between the main leads) but in all honesty, considering this is the penultimate episode already, plot-wise there should have been more.

Let’s do this!

The Heirs Episode 18 Recap: Ahhh sooo you rip my heart into pieces, and then use cheap glue to mend it back together…sadly, it fell apart again too quickly writers, too quickly

Happy Eun Sang and Kim Tan at last...

Happy Eun Sang and Kim Tan at last…

Today will be a much calmer look on things (and for the better too), as redemption is a key aspect in today’s/yesterday’s episode of “The Heirs”.

Like yesterday’s entry, it won’t be a full-out recap like most bloggers do, but rather a post to discuss about what I think are the highlights of the episode.

Let’s begin, shall we?

The Heirs Episode 17 Recap: God, I will literally make a list, and plan to fly to Korea in order to just personally strangle a couple of people…ARGHHH!!

This has been going on for WAY TOO LONG! I cannot hold off another reaction/recap post just because I didn’t want to vent my feelings out.

This cannot go on Kim Tan, and it mustn’t! Otherwise, the title WILL come true.

But you won’t be first on my hit list, oh nono~~ Someone took that place ages ago. And guess what? You aren’t number two either.

*Sigh* Alright, let me explain why I’m feeling this way…

Oh and if this post isn’t obvious already, there will be spoilers duhhhh lol

Regurgitating an entire episode isn’t really the thing that I do here, nor do I feel that I am talented enough to write in such a way which is as enjoyable as the beautiful ladies over at Dramabeans, so this post will probably seem more like a vented rant than ever (sorry in advance!)

Such a Rush” – Book Review Rant: Are these kids only 18 years old?!!!!!

Hi guys! I’m back with another book review! This time I had finished reading the book “Such a Rush” by Jennifer Echols. To be honest, I had finished this book a while ago (last week that is) but I didn’t have the time to type up something about it. So, forgive me if there are some things that aren’t quite clearly mentioned within this review/rant.

Yes, you saw that right – a rant. Which means…

SPOILER ALERT!!! And there is LOTS OF THEM!

Cover = nice looking if you see it on a shelf across the room. Close-up: not the same effect I realised

Day 24: I have no idea how I came across it but so far, no regrets!

Day 24: What book are you currently reading or what was the last book you read?

Hey guys and welcome back to the 30 day challenge! It is day number 24 ALREADY!!! Wow-wee guys, in less than a week this challenge will be complete (can you believe?!) Alrighty, let us start!

Not recommended for the weak-hearted, or people who have strong moral beliefs.

Not recommended for the weak-hearted, or people who have strong moral beliefs.

So, the current book that I am reading is called “Forbidden” written by Tabitha Suzuma. Below is the blurb written from the website “GoodReads”:

She is pretty and talented – sweet sixteen and never been kissed. He is seventeen; gorgeous and on the brink of a bright future. And now they have fallen in love. But… they are brother and sister.

Seventeen-year-old Lochan and sixteen-year-old Maya have always felt more like friends than siblings. Together they have stepped in for their alcoholic, wayward mother to take care of their three younger siblings. As defacto parents to the little ones, Lochan and Maya have had to grow up fast. And the stress of their lives—and the way they understand each other so completely—has also also brought them closer than two siblings would ordinarily be. So close, in fact, that they have fallen in love. Their clandestine romance quickly blooms into deep, desperate love. They know their relationship is wrong and cannot possibly continue. And yet, they cannot stop what feels so incredibly right. As the novel careens toward an explosive and shocking finale, only one thing is certain: a love this devastating has no happy ending.

So, as the text above can clearly state, this book is not great for anybody how can handle incest, or angst for that matter. I came across the book by accident while looking for books that were released newly this year. After I finish reading this, I plan to continue reading “The Vampire Diaries” series (I’m up to the 3rd book. Slow, I know.)

I’ve only started this book on Monday and so far I haven’t gotten into anything too deep as the blurb suggests. It’s just been introducing the current conditions at home for both protagonists. An ungrateful mother is in the picture (who I feel like punching at moments) and a bunch of kids who have to be cared for by their older siblings. I’ve arrived to a very intense point, and can’t wait to continue reading it. By the way, for those who are wondering, I downloaded an e-book version of it. I always prefer reading the book in its actual form but I couldn’t find this book in my local library…I hate it when that happens ><

Anyway, if I feel like it, I can do a review on the book once I have finished reading it. Also, I  probably should do a movie review soon too since it’s been a while :3

Have a great day guys, love you all and I’ll talk to ya’ll soon~~

❤ Yami Hyunnie ^^~
