Hello and welcome everyone to the 30^th and final day of this challenge! Wow, what a journey this has been for the both of us! What I’ve learnt from this challenge is 1) It is so hard to blog daily, keeping up with new content to talk about and share with others and 2) trying to think back into much older dramas in order to not only share with others, but to also remind yourself of the hundreds and hundreds of drama we’ve all watched in the past. I guess what this challenge has shown is that if you do set your mind to it (which was for me to post daily in response to this challenge) you can indeed achieve.

So, let’s finish this.

Welcome back to Day #29 of this 30-Day Asian Drama Challenge. One more day to go after this…seems almost surreal. How is that 30 days has already gone by? I really do hope that this challenge is enough to encourage me to continue blogging much more often this year than previous years. Here is today’s question:

Unlike the abundance of possible answers like yesterday, today’s answer is a lot more difficult. Surprisingly, asian dramas (specifically K-dramas) I’ve noticed don’t create as many sisterhoods as there are bromances. That is really disappointing in my opinion since the ones that do exist are just so sweet, and it would be nice if the female leads had a bigger support network to rely on. …I think this question is trying every way to kill me. ONLY 3?!! But, but, but…that’s almost impossible! Well…this question got me quite stuck. Really stuck. It made me really question the idea “Would I wanna be a heroine that tries to get together with the richest guy in town, and be stalked and shunned by ex-girlfriends and evil mother-in-laws?” No, definitely not. So, I went to go in search of a character who I admire and has their life together.

Your favourite ahjussi romance

I just can’t pick one…there’s been so many. I am definitely a sucker for these ahjussi romances (more so than noona romances to be honest) and it’s quite sad to see that many of these dramas are quite downplayed and less popular than noona dramas. I’m presuming it’s because people are more commonly found in such large age gap relationships, so it hits a nerve? I don’t really know what the true reason is, but certainly the noona dramas are a lot more popular than the ahjussi ones.
