“Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms” Review: Will forever now be one of my favourite C-dramas of all time

Overall Review:

A mystical and compelling xianxia drama that has indeed done the original novel justice. Throughout the course of this drama, it will take you on a journey that is both heart-warming and heartbreaking, thanks to its amazing cast, breathtaking cinematography and fantastic decisions made post-production. Such components make Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms possibly one of the best C-dramas in recent years.

Hello everyone and welcome back! Today I am super excited to share with you my thoughts on this amazing C-drama Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms which I had finished a while back. I do hope that once this drama is released with complete subtitles, that it will gain even more popularity amongst Asian drama fans, because this is indeed an example of what Chinese dramas are capable of. I will admit, I’ve been quite reluctant to write this review since I am exhibiting severe withdrawal symptoms, but it is indeed about time I shared my thoughts on this beauty I came across by accident.

“General and I” Review: An angsty and dragged out adventure that left my hopeful heart drained

Overall Review:

A drama that built potential initially due to its source material and hired cast, only to end with a bitter taste of disappointment in the mouth. With its sloppy editing, unprofessional production choices and dragged story, General and I will leave you screaming and sighing in agony, especially if you’re aware of how the original story went.

As many has discovered with this drama, so much hype surrounded this one, simply because of its original novel, and the popularity our two main leads have in the C-drama industry. However, of course with most highly anticipated dramas, there is such high expectations, too high to the point where the fall downwards is just painful to watch unfold. With General and I being the most anticipated starting C-drama for 2017, there was much to love but sadly, resulted in much to cringe and despise.

Let’s close this once and for all, shall we?

Hello and welcome everyone to the 30^th and final day of this challenge! Wow, what a journey this has been for the both of us! What I’ve learnt from this challenge is 1) It is so hard to blog daily, keeping up with new content to talk about and share with others and 2) trying to think back into much older dramas in order to not only share with others, but to also remind yourself of the hundreds and hundreds of drama we’ve all watched in the past. I guess what this challenge has shown is that if you do set your mind to it (which was for me to post daily in response to this challenge) you can indeed achieve.
