Returning back to Blogging: 30-Day Asian Drama Challenge – Day 25

Welcome back to everyone to the Asian Drama Challenge Day #25!! Can’t believe that there are only 5 more days left till this challenge will finish, and where I’d hopefully be back on track with the whole blogging spiel. Any who, today’s question is:

Drama character you’d actually want to date (not just lust over)

This question was indeed quite a unique one, because although all of us would probably swoon over a bunch of male leads, to have them as your actual boyfriend would probably suck. Luckily, I thought of two answers who I would indeed not mind dating 😉

1. Choi Han Kyul from Coffee Prince [K-drama]

I doubt this man would be on a lot of people’s lists as someone who they would wanna date, but I have to explain myself here. Yes, Han Kyul at the beginning of the drama wasn’t exactly the most decent man you could look for as a boyfriend. He was stubborn, caught up with his first love and seemed really determined to separate himself from his family fortune. But, through the power of love he was able to change and become such a loving and adorable boyfriend to Eun Chan. Regardless of gender or status, he was willing to love her for who she was. That is the sort of boyfriend I wouldn’t mind dating; someone who would accept me as me (since I’m also on the slightly tomboyish side) and despite learning about who I am, would still wanna stay. Wouldn’t that be a sweet man to catch?

2. Li Da Ren from In Time With You [TW-drama]

Of course Da Ren had to be on this list. Although I’ve never gotten around to finishing the drama (life just got in the way) I’m determined to go back and finish it simply for this man. Da Ren was not only a good boyfriend, but also a friend, a supporter and knows You Qing better than anyone else. That is truly what a good boyfriend is all about: having not only that romantic element, but also that connection romance aside, such as being a best friend. He loved You Qing for who she was, and never tried to force her to do anything she didn’t want to. He made her laugh, comforted her when she needed a shoulder to cry on and just stayed so loyal to her *swoon*

Here’s the 30 Day Asian Drama Challenge if you are interested in joining!  I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s answers to these questions.
