Is it day 16? It sure is! Welcome back everyone~ Today’s question iiiissssss:
Drama that ruined your fondness for an actor/actress you previously liked
I honestly feel like the whole blogverse will agree with me on this, since I believed most have answered with the same actor…
Lee Minho in The Heirs

I didn’t really think at the time that that drama had ruined my image of him, but knowing that I haven’t picked up a single movie or drama by him since should be a sign. Gangnam Blues, Bounty Hunters and Legend of the Blue Sea have all slide past me, and I still haven’t bothered picking any of them up.
Honestly, Lee Minho was one of the earliest K-drama actors that I really liked. After seeing him in Boys Over Flowers and Personal Taste, I knew that he was a great and talented actor who can take upon numerous roles. But, that silly wardrobe as well as that horrid character writing really really ruined it for me. Now whenever I see him on-screen, I just see him as a really arrogant and really off-putting…like all I see is that ugly pink cardigan…*shiver* The worst part of all this is…is that it wasn’t his fault, but rather the writer of all this. Which was also why I was reluctant to check out Descendants of the Sun at first. Kim Tan ya Kim Tan…never do I wanna see that sort of character ever again.
Here’s the 30 Day Asian Drama Challenge if you are interested in joining! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s answers to these questions.

I think it’s safe to say that some writers have bad days lol, because the writer of Heirs (which I did not like) is the same writer of Goblin, which I have been addicted to during its entire run ❤ I think more than anything, the writer keeps to the trends of kdramaland.

That is true Jade. I absolutely love Goblin (just gained the spirit to finish it yesterday) and thinking that it’s from the same writer is indeed surprising. Perhaps I’ve been too harsh on the lady. I’ll have to check out her other future works with high hopes from now on

I swear to you, Legend of the Blue Sea is doing this to me for Lee Min Ho >.< Even in Heirs I could find myself ignoring his hideous sweaters. But his character in LotBS isn't…well…dreamy!
I did not like Heirs, though. I think I was probably in the minority…

No no Devon trust me, the majority of ppl didn’t like The Heirs, and for good reasons too. That’s a shame though, hearing that he ain’t doing great in LotBS, since I was hoping that could help redeem himself…Welp, guess I’m not checking that one definitely

It has these little nuggets of awesome–especially the OTP. But overall I feel kind of disappointed by it, yeah. Meh.

Damn, that’s a shame. Meh.

This is the exact same answer I had for this question when I did this challenge! I couldn’t even finish Heirs, not even for my ultimate bias Choi Jin Hyuk. The writing and terrible OTP and Lee Min Ho’s character were all just too much. I haven’t watched a single thing of his since I dropped this drama.

Ahahahah Jaime, I feel you. A LOT of things about that drama was just bad, and then the worst thing about it all was the fact that I left the drama almost traumatised, since now I won’t even touch any of his works. Sigh…
