Hello my lovely readers back to the blog. Hopefully, some of you won’t kill me after reading today’s entry xD

Actor or actress you dislike for reasons you can’t explain

Now, I’m not someone who seems to have an opinion on everything, so to be honest, this list was slightly difficult to put together. To ensure that I don’t start an uncontrollable rant, I’ve condensed this list to 2 actors and 2 actresses (hopefully that ain’t a lot in retrospect)

1. Ivy Chen

I hate her voice and how she talks. She seems to always be out of breath, and her voice seems squeaky too. After seeing her in the Taiwanese version of Skip Beat, I was convinced to not see another one of her projects. After giving her another chance in the movie Scarlet Heart, I was still unconvinced. It was never meant to be I guess.

2. Peter Ho

Was it Summer’s Desire where I first saw him? I just got the worst first impressions of him, don’t know why. Just found him irritating to watch him on-screen, and hated every second he was in it. His expression was very…stoic? Like…can that guy ever smile? I don’t know, I just have some irrational hatred for the man. I was rooting for Huang Xiao Ming’s character from the very beginning (although that drama in general was a little bit of a mess). Years later, I tried watching Beautiful Secret starring Victoria from f(x)…still got pissed at seeing him and didn’t bother checking out the rest of the drama. Sorry dude, but I guess I won’t ever bother.

3. Jin Se Yeon

She never seems to be able to give a jaw-dropping performance for me to connect with her character. Don’t understand the hype around her to be honest. I remember the recent drama I watched of hers was High-End Crush, and I realised very quickly how much I found her acting to be so disengaging and just bored me. I watched it for Il Woo-oppa, but them two together didn’t convince me to bother with the drama. Sorry.

4. Jang Geun Suk

Thought he was alright in Hwang Jin Yi, but never found him to be outstanding in anything else since. Mary Stayed Out All Night, Beethoven Virus, You’re Beautiful and Love Rain were all dramas that I tried of his, but was never impressed with. Don’t know what else contributed to this dislike for him, but I think it’s cause of all the quite disappointing projects with him that has confirmed that perhaps I just ain’t a fan.

Looking over this post…I might have to take back what I said earlier. Clearly I do have an opinion on legit everything xDD

Here’s the 30 Day Asian Drama Challenge if you are interested in joining!  I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s answers to these questions.

  1. OMG I’m not alone! I have never understood the appeal of Jang Geun Suk! Hahaha! Ah, it’s so good to know that I’m not crazy.
