Day 27: Your favourite dance battle
Hello ello and welcome back! Only three more days to go before this challenge is officially complete! Hip hip hooray!!
So, for today’s challenge, I will take you back on memory lane (at least in my history books, this clip is considered really important within my past *cough cough*)
Favourite dance battle:
This is a REALLY REALLY OLD clip, since it shows Super Junior’s pre-debut era (i.e. before 2005 *gasp!*). It has all 12 members except for Ryeowook, who joined the group a little later on. Obviously Kyuhyun, Zhou Mi and Henry are no-where to be found in this clip since they haven’t even joined the company yet (actually, maybe Kyuhyun has joined it by then…bah, whatever) so don’t start wondering why there are a couple of people short; they just haven’t been found yet 😉
Just to let you guys know (since the clip is quite old and blurry), the members on each team are:
White team: Eunhyuk, Han Geng, Siwon, Heechul, Shindong and another trainee who was then replaced by Ryeowook
Black Team: Donghae, Sungmin, Leeteuk, Kibum, Yesung and Kangin
It brings back some good old memories when I was still quite new into Kpop (and also reminds me of the old “fashion trends” from the past *shiver* Shisus, those hairstyles…)
Another dance battle which is also quite memorable for me was this one back in 2009, also Super Junior but rather than battling themselves, they were up against other Kpop bands of the time:
The first song that was played in the battle still continues to be on my top rated list, almost 5 years on. It’s truly a lovely instrumental song, and Super Junior really portrays that song beautifully. And also, it’s kind of when all ELFs realises that Kyuhyun can actually dance >O<
