Day 16: Your favourite k-pop lyric (and a translation)

Hi everybody! Sorry that I’m posting this a bit later than usual; in all honesty, I almost forgot about posting this entry up, so don’t expect it to be a very long one.

Your favourite k-pop lyric (and a translation): 헤어지러 가는 길 (On the Way To Break Up) – Lim Jung Hee (J.Lim) feat. Jo Kwon

내가 위하는 만큼 너도 날 위하는 걸 알기에
지금 가고 있어

Naega wihaneun mankeum neodo nal wihaneun geol algie
Jigeum kago isseo

I know that you care for me as much as I do
So I’m on my way now

A beautiful album cover for one of my most favourite ballad pieces ever. I can even argue that it may be my most favourite collaboration ever!

I think I might have mentioned this before right here, but this song is one of my most favourite songs ever since I first started listening to Kpop years ago. Jung-Hee unni has been an idol for me for years, with her beauty and talent. This song is still on my top rated list, and is still one of my most played songs on there ever. The whole song has it’s own meaning, but that lyric alone gets to me every time, especially since it is sung at the end of the song.

Imagine if your partner in your life said that to you when you are in need of someone; how touching would that be?

Another song that really cuts it close is 7 years of love by Kyuhyun, which was my most played song ever before my previous iPod broke. I didn’t use that song to answer today’s challenge just because I couldn’t find a specific lyric; it is the whole song itself that tells a story which pulls at your heart strings.

There are plenty more out there, but too many for me to list down here for you. Thanks for reading guys!
