Day 6: Your favourite k-pop song from your favourite girl group
Hello chubby bunnies! (I know, how cheesy~)
So, for my favourite song from f(x)…I do realise that it’s kind-of cheating because there are only 3 members involved in the song, and it also is in collaboration with another singer from another group. But, it still counts, right?
Favourite k-pop song from favourite girl group: Goodbye Summer – f(Amber+ Krystal+Luna) feat. D.O. from EXO
The whole album is pretty dope, but this song is my favourite ^^~
This song is from f(x) 2nd album “Pink Tape”, which was released mid-this year.
Yes yes, this shouldn’t really be counted as my favourite song from the group, but it has been my go-to song to listen to when I don’t know what I should listen to at a certain moment in time. It’s a really calming song, and all four singers truly suit each other.
The song begins with D.O., singing as if he is telling a story to us (which the song practically is), and shortly Krystal joins in. It eventually becomes an exchange back and forth between D.O and each member making the song feel as if it is a retelling of a memory each singer has experienced in the past. Amber’s rap in the middle of the song sounds as if she speaks from both perspectives (the girl and boy), and Krystal singing along with her reaffirms that theory.
