Okay, so before I begin, I must be frank with you.
I am an E.L.F.
For those who know what that is, good. For those who don’t, SHAME ON YOU!!!! No just joking!! That was a joke, promise!
Anyways, to begin this blog, I have decided to post on the most easiest thing I can come up with; my favourite K-pop boyband.
This isn’t really a review, but more of an info page. My pure inspiration for this post was basically a sudden reminder that I had done a whole IST assignment on this band, who I have absolutely loved for the past 3 years of my life with NO regrets whatsoever.
Alrighty, let’s begin!
Who are they?
Super Junior is a South Korean boyband who were formed in 2005. The group comprised of 13 members. Originally, the band debuted with twelve members, consisting of leader Leeteuk, Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kibum. Kyuhyun joined the band in 2006. Currently, only ten members are active in promotions and activities. In 2009, Han Geng filed a lawsuit against their agency due to unfair treatment. Heechul has enlisted for his mandatory military service in late September 2011. Kibum has been absent from the group since late 2009 to pursue an acting career however, the remaining members still consider the three to be part of the group regardless (awwwwwww….^^)
Okay, so what’s the big deal about them?
Super Junior became international recognised after releasing their best selling single “Sorry Sorry” in 2009. This was their title song from their most successful album Sorry Sorry. They are known as the “Best Super Star in Asia”, but have since then furthered their fame in numerous continents such as the Pacific, Europe and North America.
Why do you love them so much?
For me, these guys weren’t just any typical band who just released songs and performed. I love this band not just because of their music, but also for who they were as individuals. Through various television programs in Korea (called ‘variety shows’) they showed Korea and the world, who they were on and off screen; their true selves. They weren’t just faking an image on screen; these guys were truly great. They’re talented, funny, cute, lovable, lovely, sexy, hot, orgasmic and the list goes on. This isn’t coming from a person who is biased, but this fact can be seen by all the fans of Super Junior all across the globe. Our fan base called E.L.F (ever lasting friends) is probably one of the largest in the world.
Alright, they sound interesting. Where do I find out more about them?
It’s easy! Simply, just go to Google and type in “super junior”. Even easier, go to YouTube and type in their name; you are guaranteed to find results. I’m not trying to promote them in any way (that’ s just really low…) but this post definitely is meant to express the undying love I have for these wonderful oppas…
Anyways, hope you all enjoyed this post, and I hope to see you soon!
Love,
Yami Hyunnie ^^

Hi again Jasmine! Yay, another fellow ELF!!! Likewise, I am totally up to date with what’s going on with the members etc (it is probably a crime, but I don’t feel guilty kekeke)
Have you heard that Shindong is probably joining the military this month?! It was so sudden, I didn’t really know how to react.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, and I hope to catch up with ya soon~
